The water inside the food

Although not seem like a third of our water come from solid foods like meat, fish and dairy products, fruits and vegetables but always provide the bulk of water.

The bread and baked goods.
Most breads contain about 35% water. Doughnuts contain 21% and cakes 20 to 35%. Cookies are between 3 and 7%. The Cheesecake contains 35% water.

Dairy products.
Soft cheeses have about 60% water, hard cheeses from 35 to 40% and soft cover 50%. Butter and margarine have 16%. Low-calorie dressings are about 50%, 90% milk and cream from 48 to 80%.

The fish and seafood.
The water content in fish is similar. Cod, haddock, flounder and trout contain 75% water. Shellfish reach up to 85% water.

The fruit.
The part that is eaten all the fruit you have around 80% water. The melons reach up to 90%. The dried apricots are about 30%.

Jams.
Honey contains 18% water, jams and jellies have about 20 to 30%. The low-sugar jams contain about 65%. The maple syrup has 32%.

Meat, poultry and eggs.
Most meats contain 50% water, the flesh of the birds are 65 to 70%. Salami 28%. Bacon from 13 to 67%. The sausages about 55%. The eggs in about 74%.

The vegetables.
These are the foods with more water in them. The cucumber and celery contain up to 95% water, tomatoes 93%, 80% carrots, broccoli and cabbage 90 to 92%.
